Birds are a miracle because they prove to us there is a finer, simpler state of being which we may strive to attain.

WAR IS OVER! If you want it.

John Lennon forwarded the peace movement by paying for billboards that spread a message of truth. ”War Is Over!, if you want it”. The government did not like the truth being told to the masses. The add campaign was really starting to cause problems, so they killed him. It was not some deranged fan, it was due to these adds and other efforts of his to enlighten the population. He was starting to be heard over the establishment. His voice was not silenced. It still lives today. The truth is that if we want the war to be over, it will be. Strength in unity, strength in truth.

There is a fantastic movie that documents The US vs. John Lennon which can be found right here...... .http://tinyurl.com/ybpttey

As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV,
And you think you're so clever and classless and free,
But you're still fucking peasents as far as I can see,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
There's room at the top they are telling you still,
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill,
If you want to be like the folks on the hill,
A working class hero is something to be.
A working class hero is something to be.
If you want to be a hero well just follow me,
If you want to be a hero well just follow me.

I dream of giving birth to a child who will ask, "Mother, what was war?"

Imagine....

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Written & Performed by the great John Lennon over 28 years ago, more relevant now than ever in my opinion.

"He was really thinking in terms of a concern for the future of the human race. And the planet. And he had this love - this deep, strong love -- for the human race and its future." ~ Yoko Ono.
