Our first off road Adventure

Our childhood may be over, but that doesn't mean playtime is.

Into the scary woods we went....

Tight fit, but lots of fun!

The pond we swim in....

Another pond in the back 40 we got VERY close too, almost too close!

Looking out my window at the ground ....... told you we got too close!

Was a very cool first ride though...

Back on the driveway, and a big sigh of relief that we made it out without rolling :)
(Yes I am a sometimer sissy)

☻ LOVE ♥

Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air - explode softly - and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air. Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas. And we wouldn't go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight. Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in. With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest. And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination.

The Limehouse Hike

Such a beautiful day it was today. Gorgeous weather, fabulous company, and amazing scenery. The boys and I enjoyed a 3 hour hike with our friends Doris and Alex in Limehouse. As you can see the boys LOVED every minute of the hike and their explorations. We ended it off with ice cream, popsicles, coffees and even complimentary hot chocolates for the boys in Georgetown.

The most I can do for my friend is simply be his friend.

Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all out, just as they are, chaff and grain together, certain that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away.
